Adding multiple phones to Corby range worked for Samsung, which is why they’re trying to adopt a similar strategy for Monte. Currently, Monte has only one device, S5620 but going through Samsung MWC’s official Flickr account, it seems there are couple more in the offing. One is Montel Slider (GT-E2550) and the other is a simple candybar known as Monte Bar (GT-C3200). Unfortunately, we don’t have the exact specs for now but if Corby’s range is any indication, we can expect these phones to be spec’d on the lines of its family members.
I think we’ll have to wait till tomorrow until Samsung announces these along with their first bada-powered Wave.
